Description

News Flash..."Americans To Land On Astroid" Yes, the Americans are planning to land a space craft on a large astroid. The first item of business after landing will be to build a new Base(Space)Ball Diamond. The boys of summer obviously will need some recreation while they are up there! Speaking of recreation I will be gone scuba diving for a week or so on Vancouver island.. being picked up in 2 hours. So everyone have a great week!!

I love this. I'm actually waiting for humans to set foot on asteroids of various sizes, especially since a few of them are massive enough to possess gravity, but the gravity is weak enough to actually throw a baseball into orbit, thus creating a baseball satellite to the asteroid in question. Of course a ball hit by a bat would reach escape velocity and thus not orbit the asteroid in question...unless it's a big whopper like Ceres, but I digress...as I often do. I love this creation and the gold tones and textures are hypnotic. The baseball diamond actually gives a surreal edge to this image and opens it up to all sorts of bizarre interpretations which would, of course, lead to so me interesting stories. This is really great, really creative, and downright fun. Super work.

Excellent idea and creativity! A really cool concept, and I think we should forward this to the politicians indeed! :) Really cool atmosphere that you've created and presented here!
