Description
To have a good old WOOF. Carla 'B' was sat watching the world go by when she felt the urge to have a good old bark. Then she lay down & looked as if she was saying, "Well that was good" :o)
It started off with pouring rain this morning & ended up a lovely day. It is the start of Guy Fawkes night when there are fireworks galore. BUT it just isn't kept to November 5th it goes on all weekend, so as poor Meadow is frightened, Dave has taken her & Jasmine (she has gone to keep Meadow company) in the motorhome somewhere remote, away from the towns. Carla 'B' doesn't hear them anymore so it is just me, her & Buck :o)

Gorgeous set of captures of Carla. A dog just has to bark sometimes. Our dog Misty used to hate fireworks too until her last 3 years. She was stone deaf for her last few years so they no longer bothered her. Its good your friend was able to take the other 2 away from the fireworks.

Awww Barbara! How sweet! You captured it perfectly. I HATE Guy Fawkes.... purely for what it does to animals. My dogs are fine but I know my neighbours have to get tranqualizers for their dogs over this period. It is so sad. We have a law that no unlicensed fireworks may be fired in the suburbs but hey - this is SA - it doesn't get policed and enforced. Grrrrr.... Sorry - that was rant!

Nothing like a good woof now and again, nice collage of the event Barbara.. Just wondering did Zlata stay with you or go with Jasmine and Meadow? lol.. Hope that the fireworks slow down a bit with the cost and recession they become less affordable to people..

She's just giving her opinion :-) I remember going to stay at our caravan in N.Wales when Tex was with us just to keep him away from the fireworks as he was terrified of them. It was cold, damp and horrid, but at least HE was happy ! Fortunately, I desensitised Maya early on so at most she gives an occasional disapproving bark :) Poor Meadow.....

No Guy Fawkes Day here, but our 4th of July brings about exactly the same results. What a smart thing...taking Meadow off in the motorhome! As for CB...she and Mandy are in the same boat...if you can't hear it, no problem:) Love the collection of four shots tonight!

I've already had my rant .. so I will keep my yap shut. You are so lucky you're son loves the girls as much as you do. We can't find peace anywhere. They do fireworks at the Hollow, AND guns! Poor B-dog is simply beside himself. It's terrible. But a good thing Carla B is no longer bothered .. somttimes it's good when the hearing is no longer so sharp. This is just the most delicious set of photos of Carla and her Woof!
