Fantastic potraiture. Your depiction of Janessa shows great beauty and strength. Your work on the props and your own props is excellent. I love your weapons and armor. Great idea with the circle and hieroglyphs. As to your other observation. I imagine there are many who watch this site who are not 'artists' and do not post images. I think you know by now nudity and sex sells, hence the dispropotionate amount of views to pin-ups compared to other types of art. It's a phenomenon consistent to all who post nudes. I actually deleted a few of my nudes just because there were so many views. When you see someones most viewed image, even if there is only one nude, then that is the one with the most views. It may not be characteristic of their work, but that's the double edged sword. It's not an issue that troubles me, really, but it does say something for a repressed society. I imagine if there was no nudity warning, but no nudity allowed in the thumbnail, then those pin-ups and nudes would have much lower views. People seek out that kind of stuff.

nice to see you back, brilliant image indeed, and i agree with adorety, i do post nudes but not alot these days, and prefer nons these days also. alot post nudes cause they don't have many outfits, like me. i see a big diff in nude views on my work and others to non, bout 50% less for me. don't really matter on how many views i get on them both, just as long as somebody enjoys the work. and i enjoyed this one.. steve

Nice one Kemal! You know my weakness, "chicks with weapons". my 2 cents.... unfortunately a nude is viewed much more often and commented on much more. I only have 2 nudes of the same subject and one partial and it's my "Number one Viewed" and also the one I put the least amount of effort into. However, I always give more credit to a nude that has imagination, backgrounds, exceptional textures and a setting or scene where some amount of creativity is expressed and nudity isn't the main focus. There is a difference between a "nude" and a scene with nudity.

It is a great image Kamel. You are doing a good job with the tools in your box. Your observations are right on the mark. If you want to boost your view numbers post a work with nudity in the byline. As Arthur points out, my most viewed work is one of my very rare pinups - and I did it on a dare from a friend. Flaviok is also right, the number of comments on images is way down for most folks. Last year I was running 50-60 comments per image, now I am lucky to break 30. Don't know if overall numbers are just down, people getting stingy giving the new fave charts system or if people are just moving on because they are bored with my work (tastes do change). Suspect it is a bit of all three. Just post what you love and appreciate the attention you get from those who love you.

Great work on this one...and all the observations are correct on the subject you spoke of, shame really, but that is the trouble with an open site like this, people look for a thrill....and as Patricia said, not the skill or imagination in the image...sad eh !!.....lol, by the way i uploaded a nude today !!!

It is true, as pointed out by some, that nude images attract more attention, and that still life works aren't nearly as popular, and it also seems that RR has been experiencing some problems of late that may have driven traffic down. However, your work is skillful and a pleasure to see, including "Dark Times", so i would say that people are missing out on some great stuff.

My friend. I find it absurd to see the number of people who watch and do not even take the time to let the words of nobility to show that they are past. There should be an account with the same avatar to see intruders, but I believe many anyone take the time with a click. I understand my friend. Much like you are no comments yet full of vision is still a great job. My advice to you Kemal would be very simple: just post the art you like and that's "yours". Never try to achieve more hits or comments by making something that's not you, and that's mainly made for the waste audience's taste... The nudity sells, that's the truth. I happen to have lots of nudity in my work, but it's entirely because I like it this way, not because it would give me more hits. Be yourself - your friends and viewers will find you anyway! :) Janessa in your render looks so beautiful, her pose is so nicely balanced as well as the overall composition in this scene...
