As Angus left the wood and headed back to the village, he was not alone. The two following him were Mog, the Lord of the Shadow Elves and his sister Damara. Neither of these dark elves were overly fond of humans, except as amusement and in Mog's case sustenance. Like Moira, Mog was a vampire but he was not her maker. He often wished he was, but someone beat him to it. Because of that, he slew her maker so he had no control over her. Mog wanted to control her. It would be untrue to say he was 'in love' with her. He was in lust with her. He wanted her for the simple reasons that she was undead like him and because she seemed to be the one thing he wanted that he couldn't possess. It was an affront to his massive ego that she refused every advance he'd made toward her. On the other hand, to say he was obsessed with her would be entirely true. He understood well the need to feed - charming and glamouring unwary souls in the night for sustenance. But THIS was entirely different. Moira didn't feed on this one. In fact she looked quite stricken with him. Mog dared not interfere with Moira directly, for her mother was the Queen of the Forest Clan, Mab. Mab was one of the most powerful elves in all the isles. Moira and her older brother Gwidion were nothing to shrug off either. As powerful as Mog and Damara's combined magic was, if the three of them came at the two of them, they'd kill him - irrespective of the fact he was already undead. He'd be completely dead - dust in the winds. So too his beloved sister. Mog had to find a way to inflict *some* sort of revenge on Moira for eternally refusing him...something indirect and decisive. Aye. In that black, shriveled lump he called a heart, he knew something would come along. He had every confidence it would, and it seemed that it had! Clearly she had 'a thing' for this human. Mog was not one to let a window of opportunity slide by unopened or untried. He *would* find a way to hurt her as he perceived she'd hurt him. "Follow 'im. Do whate'er ya have ta do ta make 'im ferget this last night. I don'nae care what 'tis. Just remember, ye can'nae kill 'im Damara...altho' tis temptin'!!" Mog growled a laugh deep in his throat. "Stupid Moira. I don' ken why, when she could have me!" Damara was thoroughly taken with the idea and this one wasn't half bad as human men went. She could see why Moira liked him. She loved messing with human men's little minds, and a plan was already hatching in her head. She shrugged and patted Mog's dark cheek. "Don'nae worry my sweet. I don'nae ken why ya persist with that little witch but I'll do it cos I luv ya." Mog's smile was twisted and sneering as he gave Damara a peck on the cheek. "I'll be off now ta other things but I ken the job is in capable hands!" ***** Oh, oh! Thanks for coming by and looking! Also, thank you Roxy for the advice.
