Description
Autumn is on the wane. The Hollow is seeing heavy frosts now. There is a bite to the wind and a smell of winter in the air. This is the time of year that sometimes there are unsavory characters seeking the Hollow's shelter for the winter. We don't often see the Centaur folk through the spring and summer, but in the fall and winter they are more evident.Guard duty escalates now.
This is my photo for the background and foreground. The horse's body from Stolta found at (I think) grannycharacters.blogspot
The upper body is from mjranum, found at
mjranum-stock aydeviantart, photographer being Marcus Ranum who also has a private website.
Of course the figures were whole .. until with a bit of digital manipulation I was finally able to convince the two that they would make a great centaur!

You did a super job on the centaur. Great image! Yeah, I went out to run the dogs this morning & everything was frozen. I guess someone forgot to stoke the furnace. ;)

you did a fantastic job merging all this into one... are you sure Centaurs only come around that time of the year??? I thought they hung around a lot in december and owned that time of year - lol.... and, I have reason to believe they hang around throughout the year - I'm married to one - lol.... and we make a cute couple because I'm Taurus the Bull - lol
