Description

Vue8Frontier/DazStudio/Photoscape3.5/Photoshop This image is my interpretation of the lake monster purported to live in our lake(Okanagan Lake,British Columbia,Canada).Known as the Ogopogo, this mythical creature has been sighted many times through the years, and is described by some as a serpent-like creature or something like the Loch Ness monster by others. This was also a further exploration of Vue's Metawater, this time I modified the Channel Water preset by eliminating the foam, changing the water colour, increasing reflection and adding sub-surface scattering. The pier is from Cornucopia3D,as are the long grasses used as water plants. The rocks are textured in a modified mossy rock displacement material. The creature is Daz's Sea Dragon(imported from DazStudio).Sky is the Mid-day preset sky, with sun moved and soft shadows added. Postwork in Photoscape consisted of a bloom effect,in Photoshop I added a reflection to the waterline around the piling and ladder, signature and resizing. Thanks for taking the time to view, and for any comments you wish to leave!

Very cool idea and nicely done!!! Water scenes are challenging...especially when using transparancy and if done right they pay off...this one does. Way to go!!!
