Description

This little village with its church is in Devon, the top of the hill at the back is in Somerset. Note the partial rainbow to the left. This was captured during last week.

I noticed the rainbow right away, but first I noticed the excellently built fence in the foreground. It takes quite a lot of work to build and maintain a fence like this!

Thankyou Andrew, the place is steeped in history. the thatched building in front of the church is a pub where Sir Francis Drake often stayed and who had property in the area!

I honeymooned in Devon. Such a beautiful place! Lovely image, with so many of the things I remember fondly from my stay in England. A village nestled in a valley, with a thatched roof building and a parish church, a hillside with fields separated by hedges, a wealth of trees of all shapes and sizes, a magical quality of light and as icing on the cake, a rainbow. Beautiful view and capture!
