For those who love moss, this is for you!
to the lower right of the image, you'll see a walkway/path. this is part of the route I travel to work when the water level is low. This whole area is rich with wonderful photo ops every season. I could shoot over 4 gigs of photos and still not get everything that happens. I try to share all that I can as I ride to and from work. one of these days you will have a complete map of my rides and you will have the joy of what I see...

"Mild explicative of wonder", you have a fantastic route to work! The light through the trees here is beautiful. So soft yet exciting. And the trees are a rich world of amazing textures. This is such a beautiful and luxurious scene, with wonderful detail, depth, and variety. Excellent capture!

I don't think I've seen this amount of moss on a tree here. I think it happens more in your neck of the woods then ours. Caleb68 posted one in his gallery a while back, and it's massive moss, too. I think he's on your side of the country, too. This is just awesome!
