Description

I had not planned to post a picture today. I've changed the lighting and atmosphere of this scene at least 10 times just today. I decided to post this version just to make a final decision and be done with it. It's my favorite version for the next 5 minutes. But it's nothing like I originally planned, anyway I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for looking, I do believe it looks a bit better zoomed in.

A lovely wintry scene - I am sure, that there are many different ways to present this image - but having said that Patty, I do see nothing wrong with this one - wonderful soft lighting! BB

I like it very much! I love the way the light picks out the elements of the image. The grasses shine and cast long shadows. The dead tree is dappled with highlights. Some trees on the left glow red among their darker brethren. Excellent post! I like the sun resting on the bare branches of a small tree, the sepia and golden tones, and the soft blue sky, the shape and color of the river, the shadows and the light. It is all quite beautiful.

This is a really nice composition and looks like a classical landscape painting !! This atmosphere warms this winter scene in delightful way !! A fine work, my friend !! Most of time, when we render a scene with a lot of different atmospheres and obtain 10 or 12 different nice pictures, it's very difficult to choice one of them in order to post it !! Because all these picts are good enough to be posted...
