Description

Tringa solitaria. Found at Sweetwater Wetlands, southern Arizona, USA. He is aptly named. He was out there by his lonesome, fishing in the reeds. The eye rings, yellowish legs, and dark wings with tiny spots are a dead giveaway. A rarity at the location, and a life bird for me. It was a good day. I'll show you the gull soon.

Oh, this is perfect with the reflection ! Amazing similarity with my last post (Ruddy Turnstone)... wading birds are difficult to identify ! :~)
