Brad stared a while into the darkness. She had vanished. He wanted to go after her, but Meghan grabed his arm. "Believe me, we shouldn’t go there. Und weil Hilfe in der Naehe ist.", sie schaute in die richtung aus der sie gekommen waren. "Wir sollten da lang." "Spinnst Du? Da hat eben jemand auf uns geschossen!", sagte Brad. "Das ist mir lieber als das was vor uns ist." "Ich lasse Yimo nicht alleine." "Das wirst Du auch nicht." Dann geschah etwas merkwuerdiges. Meghan kniete sich leicht in das braune Wasser. Dann sah Brad einen seltsamen blassen schimmer von Ihr ausgehen.
