Description
Tonight a photo taken in Lucca, out of the station (I went by train to avoid the long queues of cars invite, I have a station less than 1km from home). It was just ushering attrversavo while the sun to reach the square in front of the walls, when my eye fell upon a man half-asleep on a bench. At times he opened his eyes and turned around and then fall asleep. While I was pssando out a ray of sunlight struck the man's face. Opened her eyes a moment and turning around, perhaps without realizing it and the image eperdeva his interest. But the goblin that lives inside of me had already taken the picture, just that place tonight. That place is not in the normal version, but in a painterly type processing, it seemed the right environment.
For this I have consulted with my dear friend Maria Concetta (emmecielle) for his valuable advice, expertise and ability to read images.

"The sun falls equally on rich and poor alike." Now you are truly Van Mario. Like an old Van Gogh painting. Spectacular! "Il sole cade ugualmente sui ricchi e poveri."</ em> Ora siete veramente Van Mario. Come un vecchio dipinto di Van Gogh.. Spettacolare!

This is superb, Mario! Beautiful lighting and postwork. I love the way the shadows bring the focus onto his face. There is such a feeling of the light reaching down and blessing him. The postwork takes away some of the detail, but enhances the humanity of him. I see the tired lines of his face and body, and I think of "The inherent worth and dignity of every person." (The first of the seven principles of the Unitarian Universalist Church) This is a very respectful image and a beautiful and caring one. Wonderful light and capture of the colors that hide in the darkness of his jacket, and of the folds of the worn cloth. This is a marvelous image! I love it! Excellent dedi to Maria too!
