I happen to have made a mug almost as awesome as this not but a few weeks back, nothing wrong with simple models. This render is nice to look at, soothing colours and the lighting's crisp - way to go!

Actually, the model is done really well and the lighting is very good. Sometimes the deceptively simple looking things are the toughest ones to get right. :o) Did you have a chance to play with HyperSmooth (from Evasion3D) when you did this?

OK, I gotta ask, how did you do the handle so well? smooth shift and then joint the 2 NURBS tubes together? Nice work, good modelling, even tho it is 'simple' ^_^

Thanks for all the comments Moebius87: I have not heard of hyper smooth before, so no i did not use it. Aaronius: To make the handle i used a function called "MAGIC BEVEL" a very clever and useful tool that come as standard with lightwave (well 7.5 at least not sure about the others never used them)
