Endlich hielt der Karren an. Ich wurde am Scheiterhaufen festgebunden. Das Feuer wurde entzündet.
"Lieber Gott. Nicht noch mehr Qualen. Ich bin keine Hexe! Helft mir!"
In meiner Not sah ich nicht, dass Hilfe nahte. Ob diese rechtzeitig kam? Oder musste ich elendig verbrennen?

Finally stopped the cart. I was tied to the stake. The fire was ignited.
"Dear God. No more agony. I am not a witch! Am Help me!"
In my distress I did not see that help was coming. Whether this came in time? Or I had to burn miserably?
