Tweaks on an old one of mine "Whisperer in the Darkness"...I was pretty Tweaked myself when doing this one, Rendering while Blind you might say.
In just a few days it will be the 2nd Aniversary of the release of the 3D Mandelbulb Formula developed at FractalForums by those Fractal Math Gurus White, Nylander, Makin and all the others who contributed to it's development. Totally stunning Len. This image is fractal perfection. I join you in saluting Jessie and the crew that have worked so hard to bring this wonderful program to us. The growth in this program has been a wonderful exercise in gradual improvements and slowly adding on new interesting features. The early MB3D images were very rudimentary compared to today. At first I honestly thought MB3D was doomed to be a short lived flash in the pan. That was because most of the early images were mostly just brick walls and very little color control. The explosion in images partly as folks got more skilled at using the program as well as new features added such as reflections and so on have brought MB3D miles ahead of where it started. It now easily rivels even the expensive fractal generators such as Incendia and Ultra Fractal for popularity as well as results. At this site all of us that love MB3D have been very lucky to have your skill and willingness to help learn new techniques available.
