hunters on the roll... at least 20, 30 of 'em?
they say they hunt to restore a socalled balance
but I think they are trying to break some extinction records... :'-(
These monsters also say they love to 'enjoy nature'!!! (duh?)
I can understand that too many beasties can cause a lot of damage to the crops (and so do these hunters!!!) and I recall planting, replanting and so on... (!!!, not funny & very $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!) cuz they happened to like the YOUNG -very tasty! ;-) - plants...
but apart from -annoying, yes!- pumpkin 'nibbling', I haven't seen harvest's gone to waist...
there are also nets being used and other methods.
(can I -understand-??? I'm a veggie for a reason!!!)
However, this excuse is being used to create a complete massacre... :'-(
they combed every inch, so no animal manages to escape and in the mean time glare at the sky so no bird will either... having 'fun fun ...'
the very 1st day of the 'hunting season' there were like 18!!! cars and vans in a row on that small country road
they don't want to miss out 'of course'
In dutch we have a term for them... as being 'pleasure' hunters... TG we also have the political 'party for the animals' (and I'm involved)

The deer here ate all of our garden again this year and it does make one upset, but I too think deer are cute. I am most thankful that my husband nor I hunt. :))) We do have friends that hunt. I have to agree with BIPOLARTWO about he guy in the middle. Excellent captures. Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))))))

A shame that folk do this purley for pleasure. At least the English and Dutch aren't as bad as the Maltese..MOTHING can fly over Malta without being shot or trapped.
