no this is not at the medieval renaissance festival.
This was on sat this last week end. the church I go to which is Church of the King had a redneck Olympics games. i wish i shot more photos but i was more interest in eating the Gumbo. if you wish to make good gumbo go to the gumbo page. you can google it just like i say it too"gumbo page" or "Gumbo pages" Anyway they got the New Orleans cafes recipes there. check them out
I was lucky as i ate two bowls of gumbo. One from some one i knew and he won the contest. really good gumbo too. I ate someone else gumbo before they called for the winner to come forward. The second bowl was not too good at all. lol She needed help; it was really bad.
i not the movement is in the photo but i like it so here it is. love the lighting too . I used my point and shoot as I for got my big camera. lol

Great shot and one that makes me smile. I used to go every year to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and one of the events was the greased pig event for kids. Those little kids were equal to the pigs when it came to speed but the grease is what gave it sport. :-)
