The textures are wonderful, where did you get the one for the wall? I think the lighting is fine the way it is, like the way it blurs at the outline of the shadow from the window.

Thank you all very much! The wall texture I can't remember where I found, but if it's of any help, it was a free collection of simple digital images that were not tilable and the link I most certainly found through renderosity. The floor texture is the same as in my "Texture study" scene from Curoi's texture pack. The scene is not post-processed as I changed it to original render (hope that was ok for you all and that you still like it). I am currently rendering a darker version!
