I find this captivating in some respects, but you are trying to concentrate dim, dank and dark to capture mystery and magic. Your figures are great, but because you are concentrating so much detail in one place it draws attention to the smaller details which are not so well done, like your fire for example. Don't be afraid to use light as your tool and experiment.

Never trust a man who proposes directly after sex....especially if he was wearing armour at the time! ---- On a serious side, not a vad image but my criticisim would be that the fireplace, bricks and floor tiling are inconsistant with the armour. The fireplace is post victorian, the bricks post 17th C as would be the tiles. The armour is about two hundred years out of place (from the design it doesn't lok older than 15C). How about redoing the image set within a castle bedcamber; decorated with tapestries hanging on the LARGE stones of the walls, an a large grange of a fireplace?
