greetings..:), "Wretched Remnants", showing a badly destructed city structures, with all the rubble, dust and smoke around. a project at work inspired me for this, while painting some concepts and mood keys on destructed. town. did browse through few references before the start. artrage, painter and photoshop - tablet. best to all..:).

as a note to others: you really need to zoom for this. not because the size is so different, but because Rendo's image processing isn't optimal. the colors are muted and everything is a touch blurred in the Rendo version. the original is stronger. i'm amazed at all the small details included in such a gestural work. your combination of precision and expressive strokes is incredibly impressive. i like the palette. i think a lot of people would have gone with more earth tones than blues and greens. the cooler palette makes the scene seem more lost and connects it with the vastness of the sky. it also implies a depth that makes me really feel like the ruins stretch on beyond our sight. very poignant work.
