What a fascinating history of this place. This looks like a sleeping giant. You can see his arm just under his nose. Wonderful capture.

Hound Tor!!! I love this place!!! Okay, I'll stop with the exclamation marks, but Hound Tor brings back fond memories. I went here on my honeymoon and it was my favorite part of a week long visit to Devon. I enjoyed everything, but I really loved Hound Tor. Beautiful capture! Wonderful composition with the splash of color in the foreground, and view far into the distance. Excellent textures and colors. I like all the different greens and the textures of the tor and grass. Lovely image. Thanks for the memory of a wonderful day.
