hope the grass will be even greener, juicier and tastier in cow heaven
(really stupid... Mieke said: "but her name is not Laura?!" "YOU said you thought it was Laura?!" "No, her name is Merlinde..."
So Merlinde it is...
cows are usually being addressed as 'the beasts' - which happens to be dialect-, only Hera is often called Hera. they were named by the people who raised them in their 1st few months)
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there. I did not die...
'do not dwell upon my death, but celebrate my life'

Wonderful capture as words, Ine. Het valt me op, al 'jouw' dieren kijken zo wijs in de camera. Nu ja, deze dan niet, maar er moet ook gegeten worden, toch?

TYSM!!!!! thought you would all 'know' that poem -love the essence of it!-, it's kind of well known. It was written in 1932 by Mary Elizabeth Frye.
