Description

"Morpheus I want...no...I need more!" Thanos moaned his dark eyes glowing with this unnameable thing that Morpheus both hated and envied. Still he could not help but glare at his uncle incredulously. He'd spent the better part of several weeks risking the wrath of the universal Council to aid Death-Thanos. And yes, Tabietha has been a nice exchange for his aid. Though melancholy and temperamental, she did brighten the dreary realm of dreams from her very presence. But how far would he have to go before the madness, and debt, ended. "Uncle--I have exhausted all manner of sleep spells that would be of any use to you in this endeavor. There is nothing more I can do." "Nephew..." Death sighed, "nephew oh but her waking hours do taunt me. You see, I've succumbed to this mad thing the poets spake of and the cynics laugh at. I am in love Morpheus..." Morpheus scowled , "Indeed, and the light of it does not become you.." Thanos smiled, far too preoccupied with his prevailing thoughts to be angry, "There must be a way I can be with my beloved during the day..." Morpheus rolled his eyes, weakening a bit, "Regret fills me even before I utter the words, but, there could be one temporary solution to your dilemma..." Thanos brightened further, "Do not hold you tongue man. Speak!" "It would require a mending of fences on your part--a visit to a righteously angered scorned lover." Thanos scoffed at Morpheus caution, "Know you well my record with the ladies--that is of little consequence." Morpheus smiled a smug little smile, "I speak of Venus" At her mention the grin fled Thanos face...served the cocky sod right Morpheus thought to himself happy to have chinged the armor a bit. "Ah I see...welll...that is a bit of a tangle...however, I am ready to hear your plans..." ***

Ah, hahaha, I love it... "well, that is a bit of a tangle"...oh, boy can I sense that is a bit of an understatement? Sorta like my Ishtar's recent comment, "It's only one small problem" Ah yes, I am still laughing as I read this - it is so hard to type. Aw, geeze, I just love the expressions on their faces. Morpheus looks just so annoyed, it is so darn funny. It is such a treat to see someone else work the face expression morphs to effect.

Oooo, Morpheus is quite intriguing looking! First time I've seen him. He does look as if he's had about all he can take. Excellent expressions on them both, Alicia!! What is coming should be verrry interesting!! Thanos looks very 'little-boyish' here, as if he's having a sort of tantrum. Love it :)
