It looks like the girls & Buck think that Carla 'B' has to be looked after. it was his turn to keep an eye on her. Seems that they will sit with her as long as they can have the comfy bed :o)

Such a heart warming shot of these two. Marvelous capture Barbara. When Misty was feeling terrible near the end, both of our cats went out of their way to comfort her as much as possible. They seem to be very aware that one of thier family is suffering. Carla B also seems comforted by Buck's presence.

Awww I did not realise you had put this one up, I loved it when you brought the pic to show me today. I do believe they do know, I remember when Rags was ill all the others seemed to know, and they watched over him. Thinking back, Murphy always was Gracie Anne's dog, and when she began to fail, he became more and more her protector. He used to drive B-dog away from her if he thought for even an instant the he was bothering her. And that's when he began to sleep with her, too. And look how sweet Carla B is being, allowing Buck to have the pillow to himself, only using a corner for a pillow. A precious photo ..
