Description

A small stand of birch trees in the early morning sun. Schroeder farm, Columbia County, New York. Another black-and-white photograph, taken several years ago and only recently scanned. This is a humble tribute to Ansel Adams's (my hero) art - not that I can come even close to his masterful creations... Comments and criticisms are always welcome. Thank you for viewing. ( ...click for big.) Walter I'm working on another Poser pin-up type image but it's not quite ready so this will have to do for today. ("Trees #IV... get it?)

This is very Ansel Adams ( one of my favourite photographers too ), If you have photo-shop or something similar you could try lightening the two trees on the right or adding another tree. Its a great shot though and congrats on being selected for LWitW.

Thanks all for the comments. Katraz: - I don't want to add another tree ( ...'cause it was not there) but perhaps lightening the two trees on the right a bit will give it a bit more compositional balance; although, if memory serves, those trees were not in direct light. Very good tip though, I'll try that... W.
