She could not fail. The elven council had entrusted her with the message but someTHING had been trailing her for the past several days; and that should have been impossible.
Cautiously she sent forth magic to try and confirm who was following her without letting them know they were being probed. She WOULD NOT FAIL in her mission.

Love the story here. One gets the sense that although she appears vulnerable, she may have great power at her disposal, perhaps even power that the Elf counsel sensed in her that she may not fully realize! Beautiful light and shadow work as well!
