Description

Miss Ruby looks so funny when she is molting. I remember one year ... I swore something must have got into her cage, because she looked so bad. No we are not going to eat her. We like her fresh eggs. I think she is 5 or 6 years old now. Have a great day! Thanks for all views and comments! Love Em!!

Cool set of captures of Miss Ruby. Do they do this at the same time every year? Like when a dog grows a thicker, warmer coat for the winter.

Maybe she is being hen-pecked by others? nothing like fresh eggs - I get them always from my neighbour, in return for some fresh fruit or vegetables ... mysterious behaviour? BB

My father always have had about 30 chicken, and I did love them, mostly when there came the little ones out of the egg. Great you have Miss Ruby. I love your collage, Cheryl.
