Description

Yesterday my daughter and I went to the theathre to hear a philharmonic orchestra perform (parts of) The Lord of the Rings. Absolutely fantastic. The orchestra was accompanied by a choir of nearly 70 people and they performed just as perfect as the orchestra. The only downside to the evening was the (mezzo)sopran singer. I am used to the voice of Enya, and her voice was too classic and too dark to fit my perfect picture. But, nevertheless I enjoyed myself immensely. Parts of the movies came to life in my mind and while they were playing "the bridge of Khazad Dum" I suddenly heard myself mutter "Run, you fools". So the title has nothing to do with my evening out. I finished it before I went to the music hall. ^_^ Yvonne

luv the color scheme...got that "old map" kinda look....hahaha, i've looked at those lord of the rings maps a zillion times (drawn by jrr himself i believe!) very nice piece! :) ph
