Little Switserland / Petit Suisse
Den Haag - The Hague.
Wish I could reach it with the boat.. but one low bridge is stopping me from getting here...
A wonderful area it is.
Some asked me about the routes I can go with my boat This shows a map of the inner city. Above is the North sea and the Scheveningen area. Between that and the city center are green area's The blue lines are the canals I can go on (and outside of town. all through Europe (grin) Red are the canals I can not reach, due to dams, or too low bridges.. or... the whole canal is underground... or they are just no-go area because of a nervous Embassy.. Purple are the canals that were closed in the past (1640-2000) Yellow are the 19th century ideas that were never canals, but you can still see on the map that they had plans for it. cool, you finally posted a map - lol... what would be really cool, is if you showed where your "base" is, where you start, where you finish - give us the works - you're the tour master - lol.... and after you get a killer map set up like that, when you post a picture, you can have you master map with a little red "x" saying picture taken here... I see a lot of bridges in your photos and wonder have I seen this before??? It would be so cool if when we saw your pictures we had an idea where you are - just trying to give you more ideas, you know how I am - lol

To answer Mike.. I can start every were.... I asked the city for docking places and we got many.... so we can start or end practicly everywere in the blue line area
