My wife Julie adds a bit of scale to this picture below the water level in the dry dock where this first iron ship the SS Great Britain was built and is now resting as a maritime museum. The pipes on the left are supplying the air conditioning.

I can imagine other ships of the time when they saw it for the first time.good it is in dry dock.a destroyer"Texas" at San Jacinto Texas is in water and recently it made the news that the underside is deteriorating.
