Opossums are native to North, Central and South America and are nocturnal marsupial tree dwellers.

Great capture, Kim! Well with their size of a cat good these Marsurpials aren't aggressive...I have always been interested in these cousins of the Mammals - the two diverse groups have a lots of look alike forms with each other though they are not closely related: "mice", "rats", "martens", "flying squirrels"...Maybe human have look a likes some other places in the universe too?...A look alike: "Elvis", "Woody Allen", "Placido Domingo", "Beyonce"...I better stop now!..Sorry! ;o)
