WOW! A VERY POWERFUL and EMOTION packed image! Superb composition. Though I understand that in real life even the "good guys" suffer loss, I, being a hopeless romantic, prefer happy endings. So, I propose a happy continuation to this scene. I propose that the news that their son perished in the battle was perpetrated by their enemy just to hurt them, and while trying to console one another, he walks into the room and asks, "What's wrong? Somebody die or something?" Then they rush to each other and their tears of sorrow are changed to tears of joy. Well, that's MY story, and I'm sticking with it, LOL. ; )
