Description
We had a marvelous day. Joe's first launch the parachute didn't open so it made a hard landing but it survived to launch a second time. I sent mine up three times and all three times it worked beautifully! Recovery system worked flawlessly, nice gentle landings. THere were about 20 rockets that went up and it was a blast to watch the kids take off running across the field to try to catch them coming down.

I normally don't do that and go back to a post I commented, prior to this one, but I mentioned it to my son Jeff (jif3d) and saw to my surprise, that you revealed by leaving a comment after mine, that you (as a mother) build those rockets !!! WOW - KUDOS to you! I take my hat of to you, what a clever woman you are and great mother obviously - it's just that no one ever associates, rocket building with a woman - and why not? Apologies for this small misunderstanding - but I did check 'homepage' and there was nothing revealed, in a 'bio', who you were? I do suppose 'Jen' stands for Jenny ? Anyhow, back to this pic - I am so pleased, that you had take off, several times and love the motion blur - congratulations ... BB
