Description

Captured 3/27/09, early in the morning, within trekking distance of my aberrant abode. Extremely ZOOM worthy. The only one of its kind in the city, making it an aberration, or anomaly, as contrasted to the usual grass lawn found situated between the sidewalk and curb in front of the homes in this community. Most unique if nothing else. Ain't never seen nothing like it before or since. Now I know what is meant by liberal arts. Ciao, thankx for coming aboard, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Looks dangerous to stumble upon--literally!--unawares...did you lie down on your belly to get that wonderful bottom shot? Great topographical captures, Harry!

MrsRatbag: From what I can barely remember, I think I got down on my knees for that shot. And woe to their body if anyone stumbles and falls on that sharp rock center section.

Excellent captures of these rocks and tiles. Getting down low has really paid off to get these, the perspective really shows how high the rocks are and their texture.

I like the textures in the cobble stones as compared to the redish pavers. I will admit that the pavers are easier to walk on.

Well, as you know and indeed most people should know by now, I am VERY Anti Health and Safety and Very No P.C. And tough if you don't like me living how we used to live quite happily a few years ago.. This, which makes a quite attractive change from paving slab or brick, looks good and makes a great picture Harry! (Well done there!). Unfortunately, its people uttering 'Oh, someone 'could' fall over that' that bring all this Health and Safety down on us.. You can see it! Lift your feet! OR go round it, don't try and claim money by 'tripping' over it.. You just make our (The U.S. and the U.K.) Countries the mess that they are! GREAT shots Harry, well knelt down to get!! Rob
