Description

Hello everyone and thanks for looking... I hope everyone's Thanksgiving Day holiday was a happy one. We drove for 1100 miles to visit the inlaws, but had a great time. We all definitely ate too much, but there was good times had by all. This picture is another one from the Halloween contest at DSA. Unfortunately the competition was pretty fierce and I only placed 31st. Definitely a little discouraging, since I submitted about 15 pictures to the contest. Oh well, there's always next year. What do you think? Take care, Tom Seaview123

The poor gal shoud have stayed indoors with everything locked tight...lol. Interesting creature but I reall like the fire and smoke efffects. The camera angle is a great touch too. Our Thanksgiving was held here at home with 21 humans in attendance. Nine of which were children ranging in ages from 2 years to 17 years old. A good time was had by all as far as I know. :)

I like the POV and the lighting. The woman's pose is good too. I think the "monster"'s skin came out kind of plastic looking though. But, that's just me.

I think it's cool you know where you placed. I enter Renderosity's contests every year and have gotten honorable mention once, but I have no idea where I place.... I've mentioned to them lots of times to set up a voteing "Pie" like they have for AOM - ...as far as your monster, I like it, it has the original star trek feel to it, kinda like the Gorn - the green lizard man that capt. Kirk frought.

Interesting that you placed '31st' for a Halloween contest. Love the angle and the girl. She looks realistic and the lighting is great. The monster is pretty cool, but he looks too much like a plastic model. Maybe less specular and more defined bump on the actual scales.
