Rendered in DS3. Where ever you look, there they are. I used distant lights here to set the atmosphere, two of which using shadows.

Thank you all, and yes it is DS3. I find that with the right displacements settings and lighting tones and placements. You can get these results. Most importantly is the creature is so photogenic. LoL.. As there were no alphas in the scene, the render time was reduced to about an hour.
