Description
After Andrea's Fatsia Fireworks I looked up at my Ivy. It is bathed in morning sunshine and the flies and wasps are still buzzing today. The late flowers are always popular with the bugs. The spiders and birds enjoy it too! I know Ivy isn't everyone's favorite but it is a haven for wildlife. I have a pergola covered in Ivy that is so thick it is like a bus shelter. We sit under it in summer for shade, it keeps the rain off as well!

Ivy blooms look really nice, they make wonderfull fillers in flower buckets, together with little roses and such. I have such an ivy-covered pergola too! Nice shot.

Excellent that you too have kept plenty of ivy. It's such a rich food source in the colder months. It's a great nest site too in my garden.

It is lovely to see your ivy flowering so beautifully. Here it is usually trimmed so hard you don't get to see the flowers much. A lovely capture with all the insects buzzing.
