Description

Sorry could not resist the play on words. Needs a full size peek. This is another work using the wonderful Rianne gifted to me by Pixeluna and Shadownet. Thank you folks, she turned out well even in this incredibly difficult light set. The ocelot is a Millenium cat freebie by Lyne, available at her web page. You can find the link here at RMP in the free stuff forums. Isn't it gorgeous? She also has a lynx, and if there is enough demand she will post more. This set is a combination of two Stonemason prop sets, the Jungle and Jungle Ruins at DAZ. Unfortunately the only lighting that works well with the set is his own and it gave more sharp and deep shadows than I like. But it was impossible to fix them as there was something wonky with the shadow blur dials. Damn. So not completely happy with it but I've worked it up as best I can in CS and so I'm gonna let it go. My previous image Catnip got picked by the poser editors forum last week for their gallery. Yay, a nice little scratch on this old cat's back! Previous Rianne

The shadowplay on this is exquisite! I am IN love with that skull--when I blew the image up I could really make out the grooves of the patterns--niiiiice. Ohhhh, that is an ocelot--shows what I know--my first thought "Cute baby leopard"--doh! LOL Nothing unfortunate about the lighting--also very nice--a doppling effect and crisp shadows... the perfect jungle/repose atmosphere

I think you did very well with this Roxy! The shadows are wonderful and I agree with Rene's comment - it's the whole package that counts. Also agree with Alicia about the skull - that is cool! Congratulations on your image being picked!

You know, Roxy, I really don't think the sharp shadows hurt this a bit. It adds a wonderful bit of mystery to this masterpiece. There is still plenty of discernable details in the shadows (at least on my monitor), and yet they ARE in the shadows, and add to rather than compete with the main subjects. Another masterpiece - well thought out and expertly executed as only you can. A well-deserved congrats for your gallery pick!
