Description
We have been through so much together
We know every side of each other
Inside and out
Light and dark
We have laughed together
And cried together
Seen the very best of each other
And the very worst of each other
We looked for your lost cat
In the dark of night
Went back to school together
Boy was that fun
There is just something about you
That makes me love you
You could make me laugh
When nothing was funny
You made those long
Long cold winter nights bearable
Life has made it
So we don’t get to see each other
Like we use to
But I love you just as much
A thousand years from now
No matter what our fate
When I hear your name
I will say she is my friend
This is for my friend Merrylee. We worked in a plywood plant for many years together but the last 3 or 4 years we worked at the plant we were utilities partners so for 40 hours a week we worked about 5 feet apart from each other. Trust me she is a jewel. She sparkles on the inside and I love her. I hate it that we don’t get to see each other or talk to each other like we use to but that doesn’t mean that I love her any less. She will be in my heart forever.
