Description

The Wolves of Winter .. you hear then howling at night outside your doors, outside your windows. You hear the howls even in the chimneys .. you wake up .. and you are relieved to find it was just a dream, just the wind howling, beating snow against the house .. or was it? Been playing with Apo, not using scripts. In the options drop down, you can change the way things appear by choosing bilateral, or dihedral, or just the normal apo thing. This is a bilateral, playing with the editor (the little triangle thingies) and looking at the mutations. Many thanks for all the nice comments on the previous post .. and the faves.

Now this a really fascinating image. I haven't done much with apo for quite some time, your recent creation makes me want to return and use it. Very well done, Rita, a most unique fractal!!!!! Oh, by the way, the wolves of Winter are not howling in New England, as of yet, but I am sure they will!

SUPERB, Rita! Altough as you know the process remains a complete mystery to me as it involves what seems like maths!

this is an instant favorite! Gorgeous work! Wolves are a factor here winter or any other time of the year. They are a majestic animal. They are smart enough not to trust people, so seldom see them but their tracks are often found in the daylight.

This is killer! Pardon the run. ;) No, they're not dreams, I hear them all the time. Mostly coyotes, though. More strange sounds out here at night than most places in the world. Although, lately, its been some large strange rodent looking thing I can't identify by sight, living in my ceiling chewing on a rafter. It drives me nuts! I got to get him out of there before it drops in on me! That's scarier than any old wolf! ;)

That's wild, very cool Apo work. No Wolves out here in the Desert but plenty of their little cousins the Coyotes, noisy little buggers Peace

at first when I looked at this it looked spooky.... but they I thought maybe this is one of yor nice dogs and the face is manipulated... so I began to study it.... I see so many faces stacked on top of each other and inside each other.... You've got a SWEET MASTERPIECE here that you aught to market.... I'm seeing Owls, eagle, prairie dog, a spread eagle between the eyes, a diving eagle at the nose.... There is a lot of things going on in this - .... I'd recommend spending some time looking at this and coming up with a different tite.... Possibly: "Facing Nature"

I know those creatures, even if they have not invaded Sweden yet, here the rain is pouring. The wind in the chimneys is there alright. Sill time to meet the wolves. Geat Apo, looks dangerous!!

This looks so spooky and it sends a shiver down my spine as I can see the wolf here trying to get inside. Thank goodness I know we don't have them or they would be in my dreams too. What a marvellous fractal you have created and it is so unique too. Crikey did I just hear it howling..............lol.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw it.....wolves. Really cool. I miss apo, but I can't seem to get it flowing again. Keep inspiring me. I'll crank it up when I get to my next break.
