Description


OK this was a brine mix full of all kinds of herbs, spices, and salt. You boil the jar of herbs, spices, and salt, with a gallon of water. Let it cool and add another gallon of water. I found a brining bag at the store. So you put the turkey in the bag, and pour the brine in. Let soak for 12 to 24 hours. In the fridge. Rinse. Pat Dry. Then cook as you usually would. The brine smelled like dressing to me... Yum yum. So we shall see how it turns out. :)

Awesome photo. It looks good enough to eat already. Sure hope it tastes as good as it smells. Can't beat home cooking. You have put alot of work into this turkey,now go and enjoy.

If your goner do that, put it in a Smoker instead of the oven. Really yummy! :D Of cause you have to have a Smoker. ;) Great presentation and capture! :)
