A very curious sea lion came down to check me out. Didn't have much time to compose the shot, but got a few snaps. Location: Sea of Cortez, Mexico Camera: Fuji S2 Pro in Ikelite underwater housing

I love this. There is a spot on the northern coast here where the sea lions breed near shore. More than once I have stood knee-deep in the shallows and had a pup swim up within a few feet. Mom always charges in to "rescue" the pup from perceived harm, but those few moments of closeness are very profound. Beautiful capture.
