Description
This is a shot I took with my 300mm Sigma a while back. Outside of my upstairs bedroom window is a hedge that separates my next door neighbors garden from my own.
it is a real bird magnet during spring and the summer months at one point there has been upwards of 30 birds sitting on branches and twiggs in the hedge , I to be really quiet and really still at 300mm to get this shot because the slightest movement and they fly away even if they cannot see you.

a very delicate and detailed shot. the turn of the head is perfect and the tiny feet on the hedge are nicely seen.

Great portrait of the little fella. You need to make yourself a "blind," within view of that hedge....it looks and sounds like the ideal place to get lots of great shots.
