UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

Great capture Bill and very appropriate. Neat and tidy and showing its age gracefully - just like me - at least I think so lol!! To answer you question- no. I went there for two weeks and stayed in Chitre, Herrera province, Peninsula de Azuero. I travelled to some of the places with friends that are from there. It wasn't very hot (at least not for me), they call it winter time in July and refer to our winter as summer, it is their dry seasom and the temperatures are somewhat higher. Just don't drive - at least not in Panama City - I was so glad to return the car in one piece. Also in certain parts of the city the crime rate is very high. I will post more pictures from Panama when I come back. Thanks again Bill!

I love the even, regular slates ... after all this time! The foundation looks like it's in great shape. You know, a little paint and maybe some heavy wallpaper, and I think this place could be good to go! LOL! Happy Birthday, Sig!

Amazing, really!

The perfect birthday gift, LOL! I might suggest a large bungee cord around the outside to hold it all together...it looks like it's seen better days, but it does still sort of have a roof. It can be used for firewood if nothing else, right? Great find and shot!

Great looking old place; at least for the condition it's in. My only question is how do you always know everyone's birthday?

Anybody got Bob Vila's phone number?? A delightful photo, Bill! Looks great! Hey, a little paint, a bit of plywood, and a boxcar load of nails, and she'll be good as new! :-D

I'm always fascinated by aging ruins like this. Nice capture of all the fascinating textures going on here!

A beautiful autumn capture Bill and yet a sad scene to see an abandoned home. Nice POV to look into the window and out through the roof.

Looks like it could have been quite the 'des-res' at one time.Obviously no takers after "Jed struck oil and they moved to Beverley.....Hills, that is". :-)
