Description
Captured back on 10/3/07, early in the AM, I believe sitting at a neighborhood automobile repair shop. But this is way past repairing, so maybe it was elsewhere. Whatever. Just a reminder of the hazards of transportation.
Extremely ZOOM worthy.
Cheerio, thankx for the peek, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments. And have a nice weekend.

A sad reflection of modern apparatus and what a waste of everything, materials, engineering - maybe even human lives? But on the funny side, I think this car is winking at me with a drunken & toothy grin - saying: "Do you come here often Baby?" ;-))) sorry, couldn't resist it Harry, BB PS - just googled Satchel Paige - now I know! AHA! and thanks ...

A nice message for all of us to slow down and pay more attention, especially this time of year, nice work.

That took a heck of a hit. Hope that no one was hurt. I like this POV!

With an airbag and seat belts this driver was probably fine... Neat pic Harry...lots of starability...is that even a word? ;-)

I woke up & have mobility (& no pain), so decided to try a few comments. This is masterful, Harry. It looks almost like a gigantic sandwich, your angle brings out the massivity of the smashed front, and your hues make it seem like a capture from a twilight world. Very striking light. Also, the visible side---to our right---has amazing reflectivity. Don't know if that's true at all angles, but your capture brings it out beautifully. (It's almost eerie.) And the pov makes it seem like the engine is huge & tall, and the light surrounding the hood & top of the car makes it seem as if it's been the victim of an intense fireball. Beautiful piece, even though it's of a demolished vehicle. A real eye-stopper. Great how you find these & so many other shots in your very backyard (so to speak). A stunning capture. (Let me skip favs again, to preserve my hands, but consider this fav'd.)
