Description

This mainly done in Lightwave, but with Poser exported robot. The landscape is not as detailed as I'd like, and the clouds are weak - but here's my attempt to get the key elements from the great old SF movie Forbidden Planet into one image. Hope you all like it! Nick

Nice, and a lot like the movie! Maybe a little more displacement mapped texture to the foreground ground to add a bit or realism.

I've been disappointed with the Robby models available for the 3D hobbyist crowd, but I'd have to say this is the best rendering I've seen done with one. Thanks for sharing.
