Description
Getting close to the end of the year, time to start the process of cleaning out and moving files to external hard drives making room for the up and coming year. In the process I always find shots that I somehow missed. I've been doing more of that this year than ever before I decided I was keeping shots that I knew I wasn't going to use. Some shots I keep and file them away as a reminder of a place I might what to explore further when time permits. This shot was back on Oct. 30, 2010 @ 7:30 in the morning on the Talimena scenic drive. I had made a point to get there before the Sun came up. The evening before I had scouted out possibilities and drove back the next morning chose one and waited on the sun to peak above the mountain.
Thanks ever so much for stopping by to view, and again sorry about not having time to comment much in the last few months. Life has taken up time, slowed down shoots, but hasn't put out the fire. I've taken on the responsibility of chairman in our annual photography show at the art gallery in my home town, should be interesting.

A moment worth waiting for, as evidenced in this phenomenal morning shot! The sun is split in half, and emitting just enough light to reflect off the bottom of the contrails above.
