Nicely done, but there is not enough variation in the surface map and (especially in the foreground) there are a lot of straight edges. If i couldnt get rid of that angular terrain i would cut off the image from just below the little island and downwards. You will need better lighting then on the mountain in the background, but i think the image could be very interesting if you would do this. You can get away with the surface map then also. You can also try a higher viewpoint. Hope you don't mind me giving my honest opinion... but i do think you have potential !

Mid section to background is really quite good and moody. The overall perspective is good. But the foreground is really letting this work down.

That integration of sun and cloud is too powerful for words. Throughout a nicely restrained, filtered light.

I think it needs a different angle of lighting, and some cropping off the bottom...but the water and surface tex are incredible.
