Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.

Backlighting works well in this photo. I see you've been out monkeying around with your camera again:) Things look sharp and clear. Suggest you upload in a larger format...zooming always enables a better look at photo quality and details. Well done.

Hmmm... looks like a colleague of mine. ;) The backlighting gives the fellow a bit of a halo. One wonders what the little(?) fellow is thinking. Keep up the good work! :-)
