Got back into town late last night, still feeling a bit lethargic. Have made it around to a number of galleries and have many more to go. So if I have not played catch up in your gallery yet, I am working my way there. ;~)
Hoping I can still post more than one a day as the detail shot to follow this one shows the shape of this wind carving a bit better and why I choose such a title. The swirling patterns look great in full view!

I think the Phoenix stands out better against the background in this one, especially in zoom. Fantastic image, so many little details. The swirls look as if they were formed on some ancient lakeside.

These rock formation captures are superb with the detail so clear and what great rocks they are too. I'm sorry I have missed a lot of your captures I see but lost you off my favourites list somehow when I turned all the ebots on at once after my little spell away. Actually I lost 4-5 so something went wrong. Lets hope I have fixed that now. :)

When I saw it, I thought antelope (you can see I hadn't read your words yet). But Phoenix fits much better for the area. Beautiful capture! Wonderful colors, patterns, and detail!
